I am a psychotherapist that helps individuals, couples, and families work through a wide variety of psychological and interpersonal struggles. In addition, I have specific training and experience working with people that have substance abuse and dependency issues. I also have quite a few clients who identify as LGBTQ. Prior to counseling, I worked in human resources for over ten years. I hold an MA in Systems Counseling from Bastyr University, and have a Chemical Dependency Certificate from ECC. I use a variety of counseling techniques, but each approach is tailored to each individual or couple's needs.

I require all supervision candidates to meet for (1) an initial information interview and if it is decided that we will work together (2) to carry their own personal liability insurance. Supervision can be held individually, triadic (2 supervisees per hour), and in group formats. I use a collaborative integrated approach in supervision. In our first meeting together we will discuss goals, your learning styles, and mutual expectations. I will assist you with developing your own principles of practice. I am both supportive and directive. I provide consultation to all mental health and allied professionals and have specialized knowledge in working with addiction, systems counseling, and mindfulness.
