Therapy Group
Group Description:
I have been facilitating Men In Transition groups since 1986 for men dealing with issues such as divorce, depression, job loss, recovery, self esteem, father wounds, abuse and job related stress. Typically group has 6-8 members, some new, some who have been in group for long time. Current group has been meeting on Monday nights since September of 1988 and has opening for one or two new members. Not a club or social gathering but a therapy group for men who want to learn about themselves in the company of other committed men. Ages range from twenties to seventies and group is inclusive to straight, gay or bi-men. I have been a leading facilitator both locally and nationally on Men's Issues since the early 1980's. Facilitator Qualifications:
Carl Allen Tippins completed his doctoral degree from The Union Institute in 1996 and his Master's in Education from Cambridge College in May 1983. He began leading Men's groups in Boston area in 1982 and here in Seattle in 1984. He was on the board of Seattle Men during its tenure in Seattle and has led over 25 weekend retreats for men in the past 30 years. The Monday group has been meeting for 28 years and continues to be a place of learning and personal growth.
Fees
- Screening fee is charged to participants: $$ 55.00
- Participation fee charged per meeting: $$ 45-$ 55 for 2 hour meeting
