I'm a member of a large group practice and enjoy being able to collaborate with prescribers and other clinicians. My primary focus has been working with people that have eating disorders, disordered eating, and/or body image issues. I spent 3 years working as the primary therapist for a residential eating disorder treatment center before moving into private practice. This is where the bulk of my experience in working with eating disorders happened. My private practice has helped to widen the scope of issues that I work with, and I have really enjoyed working more with depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, borderline personality disorder, substance abuse issues, and more. I take an integrative approach and use CBT, DBT, shame resilience therapy, mindfulness therapy, and more.

My goal is to tailor supervision to meet the needs of the person being supervised. I want to create a collaborative and safe space for the person being supervised and myself, and I invite those being supervised to provide feedback to me in order to ensure that their needs are getting met in the supervision process. In supervision I hope to address any client issues, the clinicians self-care, transference and counter-transference, risk management, any ethical issues that may arise, and anything else that feels relevant and important in regards to the work that the associate is doing. As a supervisor I will also be available outside of our meetings to support you if you are uncertain of how to handle an issue with a client. I only provide individual supervision.
