I bring over 22 years of counseling experience and a variety of proven tools and therapies to supervision sessions. My combined years of counseling experiences include: adult and adolescent corrections, domestic violence, eating disorders, medication assisted treatment, and geriatrics. I am dually credentialed as a Masters level Mental Health Professional, and a Chemical Dependency Professional. I am the owner of SeedSoil Family Counseling, and have been in private practice since 2011. I enjoy working with a wide variety of cultures and age groups, including children as young as eight, teens, men and women, in individual and group settings.
My approach is both supportive and collaborative, giving opportunities for professional development in practice and ethical client care. My role as a clinical supervisor is to be a mentor, consultant, and sounding board. Theory, clinical practices and techniques, ethical issues, and the application process are a few of the topics that will be covered. I have a heart to assist associates who are in the process of being licensed. My license supervisors were a gift to me, and I would like to return their gift by helping others.
