Mandy Parida

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process between client and clinician. As your therapist, I will help you answer questions or concerns you may have about your own life by guiding you on a journey inward and exploring with you the thoughts and feelings that may arise in the process. You are the expert on the subject of you, therefore, I will always encourage you to find and listen to your own voice. I work with individuals (ages 6+), families, and couples and have supported clients with a wide variety of developmental and emotional concerns including anxiety, depression, adjustment, cultural concerns and sensitivity, LGBTQ sexual identity and orientation, relationship issues, general social and life skills, bereavement and grief processing, death and dying, existential concerns, self-esteem, alcohol and drug-related issues, physical and emotional trauma, PTSD, women's issues, eating disorders, family concerns, chronic pain, and crisis rehabilitation. I have also counseled individuals living with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, dissociative identity disorder, dual diagnosis, Asperger's syndrome, OCD, and a variety of other mental health diagnoses.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I also practice Expressive Arts Therapy when appropriate and if the client is interested. Please see my website for more information.
