I provide online counseling sessions using Doxy.me, Zoom, Vsee, Signal. Telephone sessions also available.
I will focus on our therapeutic encounter in the moment, as well as how your experience of your current life situation mirrors earlier relationships and circumstances. Together, we will see what from your past supports and encourages you and what hinders you from being more whole and comfortable with who you are most authentically. Many times, the difficulties themselves are the doorways to more freedom, less suffering, and more joy.
I have 35 years of clinical experience working with individuals, couples and groups. I have been an adjunct faculty member at Antioch University Seattle in the Graduate Psychology program for the past 24 years.
As a white, cisgender, woman of privilege, I am committed to deepening my understanding of what it means to be an effective ally to indigenous and people of color. I see it as my responsibility to make efforts toward reparations for the harm that has been done and continues to be done due to systemic racism and white supremacy. To that end, I offer a reduced fee to people of color. If you are an indigenous or POC, please know that I charge half my regular fee as a starting place. If this amount adds burden to your economy, we will discuss further reduction.
People I work with often have these concerns:
*Anxiety
*Depression
*Trauma
*Relationship challenges
*Sexual or physical abuse histories
•Life transitions
*Grief and loss
*Family life-cycle concerns such as - leaving home, starting a family, mid-life concerns, caring for aging parents, separation and divorce, and end-of-life passages.
I am trained in a variety of models including analytic psychology inclusive of dream analysis, and humanistic & transpersonal approaches. I am trained in Lifespan Integration and CIMBS, utilizing these approaches when appropriate. I incorporate somatically informed approaches in service of supporting more integration of thoughts and feelings into one’s felt sense, in the moment.

I am also a student in the Diamond Approach which is a psycho-spiritual approach focusing on self reazliation through mediation, the process of inquiry, and the deepening understaiding of early psychological structures, their impact on our current experiences of life, our relationships, and our orientation to what it means to be a whole person. Through deep inquiry into essential qualities such as strength, compassion, trust, will, to name but a few, we also come face to face with what limits our capacity to experience those qualities in a full bodied way. The teachings from this approach, deeply inform my work as a therapist.
