I have been working as a clinician in behavioral health settings since I received my Masters of Arts (MA) in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University (2002) and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington (2004). Since then, I have greatly enjoyed working with individuals, families and groups. I provide services for many issues including behavioral health, workplace & career, life transitions, grief & loss, women’s issues, working with diverse populations, LGBTQIA individuals and their families, and relationship/interpersonal challenges. Areas of experience include depression & bipolar, anxiety, PTSD, grief & loss, Schizophrenia Spectrum Disorders, trauma, substance use, anger management, self-esteem, domestic violence and living with chronic health issues.
I work within a developmental model which supports your growth and development over time. This model has a focus on the developmental and educative functions and understand that growth has a developmental tract with different tasks at each stage. I believe in helping supervisees identify their strengths and ways to use the strengths when working with others and in your clinical practice. In our work together, we will co-create a supervision plan that assists you in setting goals around clinical assessment, case conceptualization and therapeutic intervention skill enhancement. Additionally, we will work to improve quality client services and increase self-awareness. We will work together to create a confidential, safe and supportive environment to reflect on your professional practice.
