I believe our connections to others is vital to our well-being as human beings. I use a collaborative approach and believe therapy is the perfect platform to strengthen relationships to promote lasting positive changes. I use a holistic perspective to understand a person fully and promote positive changes in a person's overall health and wellness during the course of therapy. We encourage positive relationships, movement, getting into nature, nutrition, and many other areas of self-care to promote healthfulness and vitality. When we are feeling our best, feeling loved, valued, and cared for in our lives there is nothing we cannot do! I offer consultation for those interested in opening a private practice, growing their practice, and private practice entrepreneurship.
My supervision approach is strength based and experientially focused. Developing goals helps guide the supervision process and to support your achievement of your goals. We will discuss how our contextual and sociocultural factors influence our work as therapists, the supervisory relationship, how we relate, and relationship with our clients. Awareness about these factors enables us to provide ethical, competent, and compassionate care. I have extensive experience working with adults, couples, children, teens, and their families from a wide range of diverse contexts. I have specialized training in Emotion Focused Therapy, the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, and TF-CBT. Supervision availability through Simple Practice Telehealth.
