Position/Job Description:

Columbia Valley Community Health (www.cvch.org) in Wenatchee, WA is growing!  We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time CDP/SUDP or CDPT/SUDPT at our New Path site located in Wenatchee.  New Path is an established intensive outpatient treatment program designed for adults, to assist then in the process of recovery and getting back on the road to success mentally, physically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally.

The CDP/SUDP or CDPT/SUDPT provides information, screening, assessments, counseling and group therapy, and referrals to services for CVCH patients who have or may have a substance abuse disorder. This position works closely and in collaboration with CVCH’s Behavioral Health Therapists, Behavioral Medicine Consultants, Social Workers, Care Coordinators, Case Managers and CVCH’s Primary Care Providers in a team-based approach to screenings, assessments, treatment planning and the provision of treatment services to support patients’ wellness and recovery from maladaptive uses of substances.

This position offers:

  • Above market wages
  • Sign on bonus - $5,000 for CDP/SUDP and $2,500 for CDPT/SUDPT

Qualification Requirements:

CDP/SUDP Requirements:

  • AA, BA or MA degree
  • Certification as a CDP or SUDP
  • 2 years providing substance abuse disorder treatment within a facility licensed to substance abuse treatment.

CDPT/SUDPT Requirements:

  • AA, BA or MA degree
  • Certification as a CDPT or SUDPT
  • 2 years providing substance use disorder treatment within a facility licensed to provide substance use treatment, under the supervision of a CDP Supervisor.
