I am trained and experienced in working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. In my current practice, I work with individuals of any gender 21 and over, as well as couples of any gender constellation. I have treated a variety of emotional difficulties, mental illnesses, life transitions, losses, and relationship/interpersonal challenges. Areas of experience include depression and anxiety, grief, loss, and trauma; aging, living with disability and chronic illness, and family members of people coping with these challenges; working with diverse populations, including those affected by immigration and cross-cultural issues; LGBTQ individuals and families (including Trans* clients and their loved ones); and alternative relationships and family structures.

My goal is for you to become a confident and competent clinician, and for your supervision to be a rewarding and caring experience. It is an interactive process that improves the quality of client care, increases your clinical skills, and nurtures your professional growth. You can expect to receive timely feedback about your interventions and to have a supportive environment in which to explore client-related concerns. You will be expected to be an active participant in the process. I will invite you to ask questions and explore alternatives; together we will address ethical concerns and you will receive feedback and suggestions on your therapeutic interventions.
