Mental Health Clinician
Twin Lakes Counseling, a group practice providing quality, affordable mental health services to Federal Way, Washington, seeks a Mental Health Clinician to join its growing staff.
Job Description:
The Mental Health Clinician at Twin Lakes Counseling will conduct mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, run psychotherapeutic groups, make treatment referrals, and lead therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and families.

Ability to perform mental health counseling, including evaluating client needs, creating treatment plans, monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and coordinate with other healthcare providers
Excellent communication skills
Deep empathy with and compassion for clients of all backgrounds, ethnicities, races, religions, and sexual orientations
Ability to maintain licensure and / or credentialing required to legally practice counseling in the State of Washington
Comfort with technology as required to keep client files confidentially using an Electronic Health Record system (EHR)
Willingness to learn from and integrate supervisory feedback
Educational Requirements:
A master’s degree and a license in Washington State to practice therapy independently in one of the following professions: mental health counseling, marriage & family therapy, or clinical social work
OR
A master’s degree and a license in Washington State to practice therapy under supervision in one of the following professions: mental health counseling, marriage & family therapy, or clinical social work
OR
A bachelor’s degree in a related field AND current enrollment in a COAMFTE-accredited master’s program in marriage and family therapy
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, education, and licensure level. Supervision provided. Training allowance, health care, and retirement benefits included.
