Axiom Equine, llc
Holly Taylor, LMHC, Melissa Pate, Kate Shook
Friday, March 15, 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
This experiential CEU event is designed to introduce therapists of any modality to the benefits of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), and how it can be effective as an adjunct treatment. Participants do hands-on work from the ground only, no riding. The language used within EAP can be adapted to whatever modality providers are currently using with their clients. We will also explore methods for providers to build on clients’ experiences with EAP back in their primary therapeutic settings.
This training has been approved by WMHCA for CEUs for Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and Licensed Social Workers.
