As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Chemical Dependency Professional, I provide both Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Counseling and also complete Chemical Dependency Assessments. An area of particular interest of mine includes trauma. Trauma impacts a person on so many levels and can cause or increase symptoms of anxiety and/or depression, paranoia, etc and cause leave a person consistently tense and fearful in fight or flight mode. I utilize Trauma Focused Cognitve Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy to assist my clients process and work through what keeps them from moving forward.
