Hello! My practice focuses on providing teens, families, and individual adults with a safe space to be supported, witnessed, and challenged to grow. We can face many difficulties and painful moments as we develop and the world around us may feel unkind at times. Issues of identity development and discrimination, anxiety and trauma, and family changes and losses are welcomed into the therapy space at Kind Heart Counseling. **Please note that I am not currently accepting new clients; I will update as soon as I have room!**
Through ongoing trainings and clinical work in community mental health, I developed clinical interests and gained experience in several areas: gender identity exploration and transitions; video game and screen-use difficulties; foster care and adoption transitions; emotional/behavioral challenges in children; ADHD, anxiety, and depression in adolescents and children.
My approach is collaborative, supportive, and draws upon the gifts you already possess. My hope is that as you gain awareness of what blocks you or your family, you begin to feel empowered and grounded in yourself in a deep and sustainable way.
