Audra T. Lee Integrative Counseling

Audra Lee

Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

I provide online counseling sessions using Doxy.me, Vsee. Telephone sessions also available.

I work collaboratively with clients to develop compassionate self-awareness, understanding and acceptance through the process of non-judgmental exploration of all aspects of life. Psychotherapy work may include: processing difficult or overwhelming emotions and experiences, resolving internal conflicts and increasing awareness of self-criticism, identifying and expressing unmet needs and repressed emotions, becoming conscious of and gaining insight into self-limiting core patterns or beliefs, drawing connections between past experiences and how they may be impacting the present, developing a greater capacity for intimacy with self/others, identifying and addressing coping and defense mechanisms that are no longer working, making gradual internal and/or external changes that support healing on a deeper level to maintain overall well-being and balance, and developing more effective and adaptive tools for stress management, emotional regulation, self-care, and healing the wounds from neglect, trauma, and/or abuse.

My specializations include: stress, anxiety, self-criticism, burnout, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), complex trauma, chronic and/or functional illness, and self-care/well-being.

I help clients identify and work through the underlying cause of their symptoms, rather than only focusing on symptoms. When the underlying cause is not understood, it may feel frustrating when trying to manage a confusing set of symptoms that continue to persist.
