The American Psychological Association defines anxiety as, "n. an emotion characterized by apprehension and somatic symptoms of tension in which an individual anticipates impending danger, catastrophe, or misfortune."  The number of people struggling with anxiety is rising as is depression, stress, and adverse conditions and environments.  It is my mission to offer evidence-based interventions that have been successful through repeated trials and shown practice based evidence.  I want you to find therapy to be a resource and accelerator in your life.  Helping you achieve your goals and identify your authentic values and true self.  Anxiety and stress rob you of the chance to do this due to the pervasive negative thinking, fear of the unknown, overwhelm, self-doubt, indecision, etc.  We are not meant to work through this struggles on our own, with the help of a therapist and your support network this too shall pass.

I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and Certified Exposure and Response Prevention Therapist.  I have over 10 years of experience as a licensed professional treating anxiety, mood, eating, trauma-related disorders.  I specializes in treating ages 14 and older.  

I specialize in treating families who recently stepped down from higher levels of care (Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, and Residential Care).  Helping you create a strong family unit and support the family and loved one going through recovery from mood, anxiety, and an eating disorder.

I specialize in offering "Therapy for the Therapist."  I believe that healers require support at all times and off and on will need more intensive support and care.  We carry heavy emotional loads in our work and practice and it can be hard to balance our profession and personal life.  I am passionate about offering a collaborative, non-judgmental space to nurture empowerment, serenity, and coping.
