I have been a social worker for over 13 years and have a wide variety of experiences. I was with the veterans affairs for eight years and started my private practice in 2016. I also work in several Emergency Departments in Pierce County. A significant number of my clients and focuses in my current private practice are LGBTQIA+ individuals and older adults. I also work with individuals in the Kink and Polyamoury communities. My therapeutic orientation is a mix of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT and Motivational Interviewing.

My goal in supervision is to help you become the best soial worker and or therapist that you can and to tailor it to your own professional needs. I often use Motivational interviewing when supervising to help identify goals and values. I find a mix of case consultation, reflective discussion and learning additional skills are the best mix for supervision. I have supervised individuals seeking their independent license and graduate students.
