Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

I provide online counseling sessions using Zoom. Telephone sessions also available.

Hello,

Glad you are here and you are looking to better your current situation. I work with teens, adults, and couples. I can help with adjustment issues (recent life events and changes that are causing stress and/or grief). Also, I can help with relationship issues, loss of motivation, self-esteem issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism level 1, bipolar, and LGBTQA+ concerns and stressors.

Using the attachment lens and focusing on emotions, we process experiences and how they show up for us in our daily routines and lives. We will identify patterns that seem to show up and how we can shift our perspective to have a new look at the previous experiences. My approach is holistic and Emotionally Focused Therapy Model-driven. We like to look at all different aspects of your life, your early experiences, your past, and your attachment styles. I strive to create a safe and secure environment and put emphasis on your experience and feelings.

I specialize in working with couples' communication issues, infidelity, and repeated behaviors where you both feel stuck and unable to connect.

I also work with Nuerodivergent individuals with ADHD and or Autism level 1. Empathizing with the difficulties that life brings, we will determine where your struggles lie, what you have been experiencing, and how you can find some confidence in how we operate in this world.

I have a big passion for working with the LGBTQA+ community, am affirming and accepting. We can work on how certain situations may have contributed to some of the hard feelings we may be experiencing. Taking a client-centered approach, my goal is to understand your point of view and provide a safe space to develop trust, respect, and compassion.

My intent is to help you feel heard, seen, understood, and validated. Treatment can be goal-directed, relational, or process work that focuses on specific changes.
