My general approach to supervision, outside of CBT, incorporates Stoltenberg and McNeil’s (2010) Integrative Developmental Model (IDM) of Supervision. I conceptualize the supervisee’s professional growth as a developmental four-stage process involving the acquisition and demonstration of specific professional knowledge and skill competencies.
