My private practice has been open since 1987, and during that time I have worked successfully in assisting clients in recovery from emotional, sexual and physical trauma as well as with the challenges of depression, and anxiety disorders. My work encompasses grief and loss issues as well as helping those clients who are facing the challenges of transitions such as separation and divorce, mid-life and later-life transitions in work, school and geographical change. I tailor therapy to meet the needs of each individual client. I believe that attunement to the body enhances our ability to understand ourselves and to move through the world successfully. To that end I apply, where appropriate, my training in Somatic Transformation, Interactive Guided Imagery and EMDR. I invite individual young adults through elders, and adult families to my practice.
