Group Description:

This 12 week group is designed for motherless daughters. Using Hope Edelman's book as a guide participants explore who their mothers were as women, how mother loss has affected their lives and how to integrate this loss and rebuild their lives. Two groups are available. There is a group for women who lost their mothers as adults and a separate group for women who lost their mothers as children or adolescents. The group for women who lost their mothers as adults is currently Monday evenings from 7 to 8, and the group for child and adolescent loss is Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8. An intake is required. We also offer a weekend intensive option a couple of times per year for women who find that format a better option. All details can be found on my website www.groundnotecounseling.com

Facilitator Qualifications:

I am a Motherless Daughter myself and fully understand the issues related to losing your mother before you were ready to. Those issues can affect your life significantly and often the key is to gain understanding and be able to process your motherloss to regain control of your life. I have done this work since 2008 and many of my clients have told me it has been life changing for them.
