I am a Jungian psychoanalyst and psychotherapist in private practice since 1984, and prior to that, a marriage and famiIy therapist. My current work focuses primarily on individual, couple and group psychotherapy. I've been providing supervison of associates seeking MFT and MHC licensing for the past six years. Throughout my training, education and work as a psychotherapist, consultant, and teacher, I've always been drawn towards schools of psychoanalytic thought and practice that are inclusive, diverse, and respectful of differences. It is my intention to bring that 'ethos' into my work with those associates who seek to work with me as their supervisor.

In my mind, there is no one theoretical orientation, teacher, or foundational truth that holds all the answers to this complex and challenging work that we are engaged in. I was very fortunate that my education in analytical psychology was broad and inclusive, both during training and since. It has spanned not only the ideas and practices of classical and contemporary Jungian psychology and dreamwork, but also those of British object relations, self psychology, the intersubjective and relational schools, Lacanian psychoanalysis, and contemporary French philosophy. This cross training has proven very useful in meeting those seeking consulting and supervision where they are at—and where their interests and passions are leading them.
