Amanda Hewitson, LMHC
About me
We all show up in a variety of contexts, but rarely feel really seen. I believe Brene Brown says it best, 'Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.' Allowing ourselves to be seen when we're depressed, overwhelmed, hungover, irritable, enraged, lost or simply disappointed. Something profound happens when your most authentic self is met with unconditional acceptance and validation.
With almost 20 years of professional experience working with individuals and families, I have been described by clients as calm, confident and deeply caring....all of which can be felt within moments of first connecting. So come as you are...you will be met with kindness no matter what.

Amanda does a great job of making you feel heard through validation and seen by providing insight that outlines a way forward. As hard as that progress has been, it has felt like progress, which means a lot to me.

Amanda is really easy to talk to and she makes me felt heard, she asks pivotal questions that help me understand my struggles and gain clarity in life. She is the best therapist I’ve ever had; beyond her genuine empathy during every session, she is also capable of helping one grow, improve, and be strong.
