About me

I am here to support and encourage you as you journey through your days, facing the joys and trials that come your way. This is sacred ground, and it is both an honor and a privilege to be allowed into the deep, private areas of your life. You will find that this is not something I take lightly but, rather, with humility and deep respect for your courage and willingness to be vulnerable. My desire is to sit with those who are hurting and to walk alongside those who are on a journey towards healing, wholeness, or personal growth.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing in the field since 1992. I particularly enjoy sitting with women and men who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and transition, perhaps having lost a sense of direction and/or purpose in their life. Whether from relationship changes, job shifts, or other forms of trauma and loss, we all need to grieve what has been left behind and learn how to move into what lies ahead. In both positive and difficult changes in our lives, adjustment can sometimes be difficult and we often feel disoriented. We long for more—not more stuff—but for a deeper sense of meaning and for greater connection. My desire is to help you become more present with yourself, with others, and with your life. It is in learning this that we can all find contentment in spite of difficult or challenging circumstances.

I have experience with DBT and CBT and have a very person-centered approach. I recognize time and financial resources are limited, so understand a solution-focused model can be useful. In addition, I have specialized training in Lifespan Integration, a therapeutic method that heals without re-traumatizing.

Beth is very insightful and so kind. I was able to feel safe immediately. I greatly appreciate her compassion and understanding of how my faith plays a role in my healing journey.

Beth is probably the kindest, most encouraging therapist I have ever met. I’ve been called ‘therapy resistant’ in the past but have no trouble talking to her. She is very inquisitive and supportive.
