About me

Greetings! A little bit about me, I hold a dual license in Florida (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and Washington (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker). I believe in the client centered approach to counseling so I meet you where you are and we move on together from there. I have experience with a variety of modalities (solution focused, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, i.e.) and provide a tailored experience based on each person. I also hold strong beliefs in mind/body relations and incorporate that into sessions when appropriate.

I am a Navy Veteran and military spouse so a big part of my experience comes from working with Veterans, active duty, and dependents. I also have experiencing working with groups, couples, individuals and children.

Therapy is an important space in which people need to feel seen, heard, and validated. It provides an opening to practice new skills for living and to deepen our insights into patterns of unhelpful thinking or doing. I will strive to provide you with the tools you need to live a happier, more fulfilling life. I promise to provide you judgement free, unbiased support with unconditional positive regard as we work together on whatever your concerns are that brought you to this site. I understand that the biggest predictor of positive change in therapy is the relationship - one that is caring, trusting, consistent, and safe from bias or labels. In my practice, I will be clear, honest, and genuine as we learn about your reality in a manner that feels comfortable for you.

One of the hardest things you may ever do is ask someone for help. It opens up your vulnerabilities and exposes them in the light. We all have them. There is no problem too small or too large. We are all humans together and it will be my pleasure, honor, and passion to help you any way I can.
