About me

I would be honored to support you during this time of uncertainty. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), & Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS). I am EMDR and TF-CBT trained. I have specialized training in working with individuals, adolescents, and their families. Trust-based collaboration is the key to the success of my approach. YOU are a vital part of the therapeutic process, and together, you and I can find solutions to your distressful and emotional challenges, including traumatic past/present experiences.

I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Drama Therapy from Antioch University, Seattle. I am an LMHC in the state of Washington. My past therapeutic experience includes: Swedish Medical Center in Edmonds as a Bereavement Counselor, Martha and Mary in Poulsbo as an Intergenerational Specialist, and Mental Health Professionals as a Clinical Counselor and Drama Therapist. I also worked as a Child and Family Therapist at Kitsap Mental Health Services in Bremerton Washington and have been in private practice for over four years, working with adults and teens. I am presently a full-time faculty member in the Antioch University Seattle Counseling department and have recently been promoted to a leadership position within the same department as the Practicum Director, supervising emerging clinicians-in-training. Presently, I am moving through my doctoral dissertation and will graduate this upcoming year with a PhD in Counseling and Supervision with a Creative Arts cognate at Antioch University in Seattle (summer 2021).

I help clients deal with a variety of emotional issues using a collaborative approach. Now that you have someone to help, you can identify emotional triggers, traumas, and behaviors that you would like to change. Let me support you on your way towards healing and personal growth! My empathetic approach is influenced by humanism and attachment theory. I implement a person-centered approach. I utilize body-based and creative arts therapies. Allow me to guide you in gaining resilience and personal understanding! My passion lies within the threshold of where humanity, education and counseling unite. I believe that everyone should have access to counseling services, especially vulnerable populations and providing direct services via telementalhealth I feel I am able to reach those who need it most. I truly look forward to talking with you!
