About me

To share a little about myself, I am a licensed mental health counselor. My background is in expressive art therapies; focusing on mindfulness, goal setting, self-exploration, and identifying and finding personal strengths. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, domestic violence, and complex trauma. The therapeutic process looks different for each individual, and my belief is in finding a unique, individualized approach for each client. My desire is to create a safe place for you to bravely encounter the deeper parts of yourself, the roads you have traveled and the roads you desire to travel, and to feel, that you are not alone. My hope is that together we can work through life's challenges and support you in reaching your goals. I look forward to getting to know one another and building trust for the journey, wherever it may lead. If you have any questions, concerns, or thoughts about starting this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

My face-to-face office hours are typically in the late evening, however, I to be as flexible as possible, so if there is another time that works for you, don't hesitate to ask!

Since working with Michelle I feel like my confidence in myself has grown. I’m finally able to work through my anxieties and I’m learning how to understand them better. I always feel heard and that she actually cares about my troubles. She fights to help make you better and she wants to see you succeed!

It’s easy to talk to her without feeling like I’m going to be judged, she’s good at validating how I feel and asking questions that make me think and give me coping mechanisms that I can actually participate and try.

I like Michelle a lot. She does a really good job of helping me feel safe to express how I feel.
