Sara Mortaheb, LMHC
About me
I have had the privilege of providing services to individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges including depression, loneliness, life transitions, perfectionism, relationship challenges, family conflicts, anxiety, body image, stress, trauma, identity concerns, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
It is my role to meet you where you are in your life right now, support you during challenging times, and help you to know yourself better. Every individual has unique gifts and challenges. Since different challenges need their unique solutions, I adopt an integrative approach including evidence-based, person-centered, narrative, psychodynamic, EFT, CBT, ACT, DBT, existential, and multicultural approaches to counseling.
I utilize the therapeutic frameworks with compassion, care, respect, and being non-judgmental. I provide a collaborative and safe environment in which to discover alternative perspectives and find personal ways to create a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I hope I have a chance to work with you on a journey of self-discovery and growth.
I look forward to being a supportive connection for you and help you grow into your best self.
