About me

Welcome!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of Washington (LH60220280) with over fourteen years’ experience working in behavioral health, I strive to offer an inviting, attentive, accepting and safe space for you to share your struggles openly and confidentially. I have a wide range of experience working with adult populations of diverse backgrounds and I specialize in the treatment of trauma, depression and anxiety using Evidenced-Based Practice.

I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Common Elements Treatment Approach (CETA) for the treatment of trauma, depression and anxiety in adults. Using these treatment modalities, I assist you in developing a better understanding of how your thoughts and feelings are connected; I teach skills to manage unhelpful thoughts in order to achieve tangible behavioral and emotional change. For trauma survivors, CBT and CETA approaches are effective trauma treatments. I would be honored to support you in both understanding the effects of your trauma history and in helping you move towards healing.

Together, we will develop a personalized and agreed upon treatment plan, learn new ways to increase your sense of emotional stability and safety, learn to process and express emotions in a healthy way, differentiate between healthy and unhealthy behavioral patterns, develop a self-care plan, improve your self-esteem and self-confidence, identify, acknowledge and build upon your strengths, and develop skills to cope with emotions and effectively manage your mood. You are taking a very important first step and I’m excited for us to meet!

All I can say is she is amazing!!

Written on Jan 24, 2024 after therapy with Stacy for 1 year and 7 months on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, and adhd

Stacy is a godsend. She is super kind, caring, attentive, a great supporter and listener, and I know that she truly cares! She has helped me really identify and listen to myself and my needs, and combat the depression and anxiety I have been dealing with, especially during this time of job changes, my mom's cancer diagnosis + chemo journey, and overall anxiety and depression that I have had since I was young. I can't thank her and recommend her enough to anyone needing a friend and expert who will do everything they can do make sure your needs are being met and that you find the tools to fight the day to day battles! Thank you Stacy!!!
