About me

Are you at a crossroads, or on a threshold?
Throughout life, we experience, "little deaths," that change our course. Loss of security, a dream, health, job, marriage, country or beliefs take us over a threshold into a new world where life no longer makes sense. Our old tools and ways of coping or understanding are no longer enough to pilot us to the other side of what can feel like a vast, deep river. While often terrifying, these are the golden opportunities in which our true nature, or purpose in life can be revealed. My job is to serve as your guide and assist you on your own unique journey to the next chapter of your life.

What I offer you
To become one's most whole, alive and vibrant self, a safe place can nurture those elements of your life you want to preserve, or shed those that no longer serve you, or to heal those that have left their mark. To support you in achieving your goals, or to define meaning in life, I offer you over 20 years of experience, grounded in Jungian psychology, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Trauma Recovery, Attachment Theory and I am a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist. As a Relational Therapist, I specialize in life transitions, loss and grief, AD/HD, Asperger’s, Anxiety and Depression, Parenting, Sexual Abuse, PTSD, Parenting, Third Culture Kids, the challenges of being "Gifted," multi-cultural/racial/religious relationships and "End of Life" issues.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Sulfiati Magnuson. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I only had Sulfiati for two sessions before she moved out of state, but in those two sessions I have never felt so supported. She made me feel valid for my struggles and so incredibly proud of my growth. I wish we could’ve been together longer, but I know whoever gets her next will love her.
