About me

I am licensed in Washington State with 10 years of professional counseling experience. I have helped clients manage mental health, substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders (both mental health and substance use disorders occurring at the same time).

I have treated many of the disorders in the DSM-5 with vast experience regarding trauma and abuse, addiction, lack of motivation, low self esteem, anxiety, and depression. I am very interested in helping clients become their best self which includes work on bettering performance, life coaching, & coping with life changes.

I use a holistic approach to help clients create balance in their lives, strengthen their foundations, and move towards life goals. A major focus of my therapy style is helping people create change and sustaining healthy change. Change is a slow process and we need to be patient (you and I both). I want clients to be gentle with themselves and communicate with me. You provide the goal - I provide the support.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Zane DeWitz. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Zane may be the most hardworking therapist I have ever met. He challenges me, reaches out frequently, clearly puts thought and energy into his very specific recommendations. While he is very well educated and equipped to handle serious mental illness, he is also excellent in the personal coaching space.

Zane has been incredibly kind understanding and supportive. I was at a very low spot in my life and he not only helped me get past that bump but has also taught me techniques to manage my anxiety.

I use them daily and my life has steadily become more manageable.

Zane has made me feel comfortable to openly talk and express what is going on and how to positively move forward. I know that he is listening and not just hearing me. He has been a great resource and a source of support
