About me

Hello there! My name is Christina, and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. During the past decade of my professional practice, I have worked in a variety of care settings and different levels of care. My passion remains in providing individual therapy in a safe and healing space by joining with you on this journey. Whatever brings you into considering the therapy as a tool for improving your quality of life, my role is to create a space for exploring, questioning, learning, reducing distress, and building healthy coping skills to allow you to flourish. I have a great deal of experience with multiple mental health concerns. However, my areas of particular interest and skill, are anger management, addictions recovery, and recovery from the impact of traumatic stress. In our work, I offer different specialty therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Life Stress Reduction, Cognitive Therapies, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I look forward to meeting with you, hearing about what brings you to consider therapy, and how this process might fit into your healing journey.

I recently this year became a member of BetterHelp. I had to go through 2 other therapists before I found the "3rd time is a charm", Christina. Which is another great aspect of BetterHelp, it's very easy to request another Therapist within the website app or the mobile app, you can see a photo, you can read about them and their credentials and areas of expertise. The therapist you are leaving so to speak, does not even know about it until after you have changed therapists, so there is no hard conversation to have.

I can't begin to explain the wealth of knowledge, smarts and expertise that Christina holds. She is so patient, kind, puts me first, is always willing to help me if needed in between sessions.
She always reaches out in advance of the session giving me an opportunity to have some conversation with her if I feel I need it, or to let her know whats going on with me that I may want to discuss at the next session. It's as if she is also my life coach at the same time.

I have along way to go to heal from my past trauma's in life at 61 years old, but just in the couple of months @ weekly sessions, I have gained a lot in-site and coping tools that have made a big difference. I wished BetterHelp was around many years ago, but at least it's here now and am getting the help I need. Such a more affordable way of getting therapy than the traditional trying to find one that you vibe with and not wasting such a big chunk of change for just one session to find out you don't vibe with that person.

I highly recommend BetterHelp and highly recommend Christina for your therapy needs.
