The Counseling Washington Counselor/Therapist Directory’s primary goal is two-pronged: (1) to provide current pertinent information to consumers seeking a licensed therapists or those seeking related information about counseling-related services while also (2) helping psychologists, counselors, therapists, and clinical social workers throughout Washington State market and build their private practices, groups and agencies.  The listed therapists are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide to our directory.

Counseling Washington is - a privately owned organization—NOT affiliated with any city, county, or state governing body, although we provide links to such entities to help counselors and the viewing public find information.  Counseling Washington is not a part of the State Health Department, or any other government agency. 

The Counseling Washington Counselor/Therapist Directory is not intended as a tool for verifying the credentials (instead refer to Washington State's Provider Credentials Look-up System), qualifications, or abilities of any listed therapist.

Inclusion in Counseling Washington’s Counselor Locator does not imply recommendation or endorsement nor does omission from the counselor locator imply Counseling Washington’s disapproval. Counseling Washington does not warrant or represent that the Counselor Locator service or any part of the site is accurate or complete. (We are located in and serve Therapists throughout Washington STATE--as opposed to that "other Washington.")

Counseling Seattle LLC is our legal entity name. We are registered with the state of Washington “Doing Business As” (DBA) “Counseling Washington” to reflect our extended geographic area. To eliminate confusion we have chosen to use our DBA name “Counseling Washington” as our primary name for all of our business activities.

All of our related URL names link to related pages of the Counseling Washington site. For the purposes of clarity within this document, Counseling Seattle LLC and its related URLs will henceforth be referred to as “Counseling Washington”. It is implied when using “Counseling Washington” that all Counseling Seattle LLC networked URLs are included. Two or more different URL names may lead to the Counseling Washington pages because they link to us. These URLs are privately owned for use by webmaster, Floyd Else, MA, LMHC (ret.), NCC, MAC, while being maintained by staff.

Listing on this site is open to all qualified, Washington State Licensed Psychologist, Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Associates for a moderate fee to help defer the cost of maintaining the site. In an effort to maintain its position and provide the best service to its customers, Counseling Washington uses Google.com/analytics to maintain statistics for its various pages.
