Position/Job Description:

CPC is looking for a Child and Family Intake Clinician who will work alongside our multidisciplinary team which delivers high quality, evidence informed, and community-based behavioral healthcare services to our clients. This is a full-time position screening and assessing children, adolescents, and caregiver referrals for eligibility and entrance into mental health services. Duties include phone screening, completing initial assessment with a DSM diagnosis, providing a thorough written summary and treatment plan, providing community referral services as needed, and providing short term crisis intervention services. Services provided in the clinic and community. Collaborate with referral sources to facilitate client access to services. Knowledge of King County public mental health system, DSM criteria, child and adolescent development, child and adolescent mental health issues, and family systems required. Ability to engage clients, flexibility, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and initiative essential for our dynamic team setting. The ideal candidate will be able to utilize caring engagement skills and excel at welcoming a high-needs and diverse clientele to the Child and Family Services Program.


Qualification Requirements:

Job Requirements Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or a related field. Be MHP qualified. WA State Driver’s License and access to vehicle for use for work in the community. Two years direct behavioral health experience with children and families, preferred. Any job offer will be contingent upon the results of an updated background investigation.
