CPC is looking for a full-time Residential Counselor in our Willows transitional housing program who will work alongside our multidisciplinary team which delivers high quality, evidence informed, and community-based behavioral healthcare services to our clients. The Residential Counselor works with previously homeless women who are now in recovery, and their children, at The Willows transitional housing program in White Center. This position provides support, coaching, skill building, safety monitoring, and coordination with other service providers for mothers in recovery and their children in the Willows. Facilitate house meetings to help the residents problem-solve community living issues and gain independent living skills. Provide services that incorporate recovery principles and trauma informed care that will support the residents in their ability to live, work, and contribute to their community. Monitor safety, health, hygiene and cleanliness of the facility and its residents. Provide crisis intervention in accordance with agency protocols to diffuse conflict or dangerous behavior, or deteriorated psychiatric or physical conditions of residents. Encourage and support residents in providing a nurturing and caring environment for all, including infants, toddlers and youth. Direct relevant clinical experience working with dually diagnosed CD/MH adult population, parenting support, and/or at-risk youth and infants preferred. Must be able to work independently and as a team member. Job Requirements: AA degree or equivalent in counseling or related field. BA preferred. Current State counselor's registration. Any job offer will be contingent upon the results of an updated background investigation.
