CPC is looking for a Wraparound Parent Partner who will work alongside our multidisciplinary team which delivers high quality, evidence informed, and community-based behavioral healthcare services to our clients. The Parent Partner utilizes their own experiences as the parent/caregiver of a child/youth who has experienced serious emotional or behavioral issues, and involvement in one or more child serving systems, to deliver direct supportive services to parents/caregivers of a child/youth referred to or receiving wraparound services. The Parent Partner ensures that parent/caregiver/family voice and choice is understood and utilized by other wraparound team members. Connects families to supports and resources within their community, and engages youth and family in the wraparound process. Advocates for family needs within the team and community. Provides services in client homes, schools or other convenient community locations. Position requires flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends to accommodate family’s needs.

 

Qualification Requirements:

Job Requirements Must self-identify as a parent or caregiver of a child/youth who has had serious emotional or behavioral issues and has been involved in at least one child serving system. Washington state DOH agency affiliated counselor registration, certification, or license. Have current Peer Counselor Certification from the State of Washington or must obtain within one year of hire. Maintain current first aid and CPR cards. Personal vehicle is required. Have and maintain valid WA Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Any job offer will be contingent upon the results of an updated background investigation.
