Over the last 10 years, a bulk of my experience has been with individuals and families in crisis in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. My experience has made me generally unflappable and ready to tackle your most challenging life issues. My approach is to empathize you as a holistic being, not just a body with a brain. By doing this we can together increase your level of consciousness around places you are stuck and help you move forward. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
I love working with those who are experiencing changes in their life (death, divorce, new job etc) and the anxieties that come with that. I also love working with those who are struggling in their relationships (personal, professional or otherwise). I'm also experienced working with military spouses and those experiencing infertility and chronic illness.
I am sex positive and inclusive therapist open to all kinds of lifestyles, relationships and couplings. You will find me to be empathetic, open and caring. Change can be hard and sometimes it's easier with a helping hand.
I am a very eclectic supervisor. I am proficient in supervising clinicians practicing in a variety of settings. I currently meet the criteria set out for approved supervisors in the State of Washington. I am also open to supervising clinicians from states that allow distance supervision.
Discounts available for military spouses, community mental health workers and Veterans
I also have packages available to help you with setting up your private practice.
