I have supervised beginning therapists for almost 5 years and it's one the top joys of my private practice. I love to be a part of the journey of supporting a therapist in developing their strengths so they can be of service to the people of our community. I align with the orientation that each of us exists in the multifaceted context of relationships, from the relationships of family, partner(s) & friends, to the relationship with one's past, body, and even their own mind. My passion is to help people find greater freedom, wholeness, and fulfillment in their lives by providing a safe relationship with me to explore who they are, the narrative they have built around their lived experiences and the truth about the life they want to live. I approach my clients with an openness of "kind curiosity" and a sense of responsibility to be of service to their need for healing and their desire for growth. 

In supervising, I want to help clinicians identify your strengths as well as the areas of counseling that stretch you. I pull from a multitude of theories and think it serves clients well when a counselor has multiple tools and approaches they can employ, so I like to help clinicians discover different approaches and figure out which ones fit them. I hold reverence for my clients and the honor being invited into their journey, and I want to cultivate a similar reverence in the clinicians I supervise. This approach also includes learning to honor our own stories as clinicians, and to be aware of our own personhood in the room. I am building a cohort of incoming supervisees so I hope to offer group supervision sessions as well.
