I believe that relationships are the foundation of our lives, and that our connection with family impacts how we view and experience the world around us. Through a collaborative exploration of your families dynamics, we develop how to connect through communication. In my systemic approach, I provide a clinical understanding of how families work, what creates dysfunction in a family system, and the mechanisms it takes to create positive functioning within the system. It has been my experience that when we heal the wounds caused by family trauma, we are more able to not only develop the relationships we desire, but live our best lives.
I also utilize expressive arts, such as movement, theatrical techniques, art, music, writing, and play to help embody and move through the therapeutic process.
