Position/Job Description:
Atlantic Street Center is an award-winning agency that has been serving our region for over a century. We are a team that values reducing barriers to accessing services by meeting youth in the community, and providing culturally responsive services. We are looking for candidates who have a background working with family systems and an interest working with both adults and children.
Working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, Atlantic Street Center Therapists use evidence-based psychotherapeutic treatment methods to assess and treat participants presenting with a wide range of mental health and psychosocial disorders in individual, family and group settings. Therapists must be fully vaccinated and be able to drive their own car to visit youth.
Qualification Requirements:
- Master’s required counseling, social work or related social services field.
- Two years post graduate experience providing therapeutic services to diverse communities;
- LMHCA, LSWAIC or LMFTA (required)
- LMHC, LICSW, LMFT (preferred)
- Experience working in community-based mental health programs
- Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records systems
- Proficient with using Microsoft Office products
- Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation and car insurance
