I offer psychoanalysis/psychoanalytic therapy which is an approach to mental healthcare useful for overcoming anxiety, depression and emotional road blocks at all phases of life. I work with adults, children and teens (ages 10+) who struggle with lack of motivation, people who are facing difficult life transitions, and many who want to change relationship patterns. Topics of identity are my core competencies: gender, sexuality, parenting, family dynamics. LGBTQ-centered perspective and trans affirming care are core values in my therapy practice.

My expertise is in helping people make connections between current feelings and lived experiences that may have shaped expectations and attitudes. I strive to compassionately help people learn to recognize and be curious about their leading edges of personal growth, particularly during times of stress.

I offer psychoanalytically informed supervision and consultation for clinicians and associates interested in deepening the work of psychotherapy with clients. Whether one brings case material from sessions that are short term, or characterized by ongoing depth work, I can help providers gain insight into mental processes and emotional life underneath the narrative content of sessions. I help clinicians learn to work with dreams; attend to therapist/client relationship dynamics; learn to identify countertransference and transference; establish a frame; start private practice; identify professional development needs and pathways.

I also offer support/tutoring/consultation for clincial, academic and personal writing.
