I provide individual counseling to clients seeking to heal from trauma, cope with anxiety and depression, understand themselves better, and improve their relationships. I have experience working with clients diagnosed with personality disorders as well as those in relationships with them. I also work with medical providers dealing with compassion fatigue or professional issues, especially during COVID. I have experience with first responders who are dealing with the unique stressors of that role.

I have worked with abuse survivors since 1989, with an eye toward healing and developing fulfilling, enjoyable lives and relationships. I have a large body of experience in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders, using relational, psychodynamic therapy. I am also informed by CBT, DBT, IFS, and existential therapy. 

I tailor all I do toward helping my clients to feel and do better, as they define this. Therapy is about you, the client, and what you feel is important and valuable. I will go beyond the usual "tips and tricks" to help you uncover the root cause of your distress and to honor and respect who you uniquely are.
