My background is in Rehabilitation Counseling, where we work with people with disabilities to help them overcome barriers. I have been a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for 12 years, during that time I became a professional future builder for all kinds of people. My undergrad degree is in Fine Art and I have a long history of self-employment, from those experiences I can help you create your own business if that is your goal.  For the last 4 years I have been providing mental health therapy, I have most often worked with people experiencing depression, anxiety, and autism. I work with people from 16 years of age and up.

My specialty is in Rehabilitation Counseling which I have been doing full time for 12 years working for Washington State. A Rehab Counselor is trained in counseling and to understand the psycho/social impacts of disability including mental health, addiction and physical disabilities.  I also focused on life planning and vocational success including in self-employment. I understand how to identify and manage barriers in order to help my clients acheive their highest potential. I have helped people to get permanent jobs that are meaningful for them that allow them to work at or toward their greatest abilities. At least 10 of my clients achieved master's degrees and became professionals in their fields, many have created successful self-employment businesses.

I am a member of the LGBT+ community and am in a long-term polyamorous relationship of 13 years. I have been a foster parent for therapeutic level teen girls for 16 years and have experienced disability in the family. I founded and provided a NAMI support group for 10 years and have provided a vocational support group for transgender people for 6 years. I thrive in a diverse society and welcome all people to my work.
