Sunrise Services, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our team!

Sunrise Services is looking for a full-time, highly-motivated, compassionate, and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Clinician to supervise two facilities in the Sunrise team of clinics providing behavioral health services. This position would be stationed out of our Mount Lake Terrace location.

About the Program:

As a Clinical Supervisor you will provide clinical supervision to mental health staff and interns, do ongoing training for your team, providing therapeutic and case management services with a small case load, and implement department systems and processes. You will work in collaboration with others on the leadership team and report to our Clinical Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff: interview, hire, orient, train, assign, evaluate, and manage performance and behavior.
  • Provide direct clinical supervision of assigned staff including observation of performance and feedback to staff, consultation about development of treatment programs, and annual assistance to Program Administrator concerning staff’s performance reviews and performance development plans.
  • Act as a backup for other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all Human Resources and Sunrise policies and procedures.
  • Develop expertise in solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy and group process, provide this treatment, and share this knowledge with other staff.
  • Work across agencies and disciplines, and as a part of a multi-disciplinary therapeutic team.
  • Provide accurate and timely program reports in compliance with requirements of Snohomish County and Sunrise Services.
  • Provide mental health therapy and case management services to clients.
  • Assess clients’ presenting problems, formulate individualized treatment plans, apply appropriate treatment modalities, assess, monitor and document clients’ response to clinical interventions. Evaluate treatment effectiveness and revise treatment plans regularly.
  • When appropriate, provide services in group settings to address mental illness symptoms.
  • Assess referred clients for possible chemical dependency and, where appropriate, refer persons with suspected dependency to agencies certified to render treatment services.
  • For clients whose symptoms may be managed through appropriate use of psychotropic medications, make referrals to the Sunrise Services prescriber for medication management consultation.
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation by phone as needed.
  • Submit timely written evaluations and reports as necessary on behalf of clients.
  • Attend clinical consultation meetings with Clinical Director on a regular basis.
  • Communicate with consumers and family members to obtain information regarding consumer’s needs and objectives, interests, skills, and support systems.
  • Maintain consumer records in keeping with agency and regulatory guidelines.
  • Attend continuing education training as required by state regulations and Sunrise policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5 pm. No on call.

Compensation:

  • Pay range: $27 - $32/hour
  • Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications/licensure.

Qualification Requirements:

Requirements: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)

  • Education:  Master’s degree in behavioral science or related field; and meet educational and training requirements for designation as a Mental Health Professional.   
  • Experience: Two years of experience in a Behavioral Health Care setting, including supervisory experience in a mental health setting, and significant experience with adults with persistent and complex mental health issues.  Experience working with adults who have chemical dependency issues. 
  • Must have a full licensure – LMHC, LICSW or LMFT
  • A minimum of two year experience in a Behavioral Health Care setting
  • Experience supervising staff
  • State certified to provide licensure supervision preferred but not necessary.
