Counseling is collaborative work rooted in the therapeutic relationship. It considers the individual's life experiences, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped and influenced your way of being in and thinking of the world. I am committed to identifying and exploring the challenges that currently bring you to counseling and the strengths, skills, and resources that will allow you to make the desired changes. We all deserve a purpose-driven and worthwhile life. Whether you are experiencing the pressures to fulfill a specific role, repeating dysfunctional generational patterns, or feeling like the past is guiding your present due to challenging life experiences, I may be able to help.
I specialize in working with Latino/Hispanic individuals. I am a bilingual counselor who specializes in helping people with mood disorders, interpersonal relationship challenges, and trauma. My approach is direct and respectful, and I am trained in various treatment models and will work with you to determine the strategy that best fits your needs. I seek to understand you, your goals, needs, and the challenges you face, and my goal is to meet you where you are and help you figure out what works for you and what you want to achieve through counseling. Going to therapy demands vulnerability, and I want to offer you a compassionate space where you can identify what you need to live an intentional, fulfilling life. The therapeutic relationship is essential for success; I invite you to schedule an appointment with me to begin taking steps toward the person you were meant to be. I offer a brief complimentary consultation and look forward to connecting with you.

I was born and raised in California in a Spanish Speaking household. Throughout my childhood, I spent my summers in Mexico and had the opportunity to immerse myself in hearing, speaking and writing native Spanish. I became fluent early in my life as my siblings learned English and began to speak it at home, my parents remained monolingual (Spanish) which allowed me to navigate two languages and I am fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
